Wi-Fi Offload Test

  • Identify working items approved by the committee through membership meetings and seminars, and through interacting with operators, vendors and industry partners. Note by SW2: Not clear about this bullet. If the items have been approved by committee membership meetings etc, what’s left to be identified?
  • Facilitate four membership meetings, with two plenary meetings held for the purpose of developing annual targets and discussing contributions from members.
  • Facilitate one conference with industry and academia in a technology forum format, discussing Technology Committee working items and presenting results.

  • Establish test specifications to promote performance and interoperability tests of LTE small cell devices.
  • Create 4G small cell testing specification document.
Wi-Fi Offload Working Group
  • Establish Wi-Fi offloading mechanism for the 4G network.
